Well we have been waiting for this since our State Championship was held in July to announce this.
The Man Keiton Puzey has set a new Rimfire National Smallest group record of 0.711"
The spotter saw all 5 shots on paper but when we scored the target we agreed there was 5 but being so close to a National record I want to make sure 100% so I sent the Target to Anthony to work his magic with his computer program and camera as I want there to be no issues, measured with 0.130 centre's and normal hole size in pics below
and in other less exciting news I set a new Range record for Total RF score of 279.05
we had some tricky right to left winds for the CF on Saturday but the Sunday was great conditions with the odd rain shower at times

@kip989 ha ha yeah i put a couple through the same hole on a good target a while ago and my trusty eagle eyed spotter told me it was in the V .. turned out to be the staple but I believed him for a while. 🤣
The rimfire group record has a fair way to fall I reckon, plenty of good rifles around capable of jagging 5 well under the half inch
