2024 Registered Match Summary

(@fred-b)
Eminent Member

Well the 2024 Registered Fly Match Season has officially come to end.

I would like to thank all of the volunteers that put in countless hours to make all this happen. The work that is both seen and unseen is immense, and the fact that matches are run so smoothly is a true credit to everyone involved.

I would also like to thank all of the shooters that have attended the events throughout the year. The time and money you all put in the sport is huge (but we might not tell the other half just how huge it is).

And of cause all of the sponsors of our events. I am not going to try and list them all, but I think we should all try to remember and thank the many sponsors through the year, not just at the match. The support that you all provide for not just the matches but our sport in general is greatly appreciated.

Finally, congratulations to all the winners, of all the different matches. Especially the winners of shooter of the year (Dave Groves, Michael Bell, and Mark Welsh), to stay consistently at the top of such a competitive group of shooters is no small achievement.

Below I have put together a little summary of the year,

Fred....Bloody hell mate!!!  You've crunched the numbers in unimaginable ways!!

I second your comments about thanking the huge numbers of volunteers that make our matches possible....without them we don't get to shoot, simple as that!

You have though, left someone out..YOU. Your efforts on the tech side with scoring and the collating of information is fantastic ..so..big thanks Fred 👍 👍 👍

Regards,

Belly
