Well, it was a great weekend with new range records being shot in every class. Congratulations to Michael Bell for his 268.06 LG AND 262.05 HG records and Percy Spierske  with his 271.07 in the 200 Rimfire.

Nick would certainly be pleased with the setting of new records, albeit in his absence.

Thankyou to everyone who attended from near and far, your presence is what makes this sport great.

Thanks Glen,

We were all aware of how "dire" Nicks situation was. What we really wanted was to somehow honour the man who was a great bloke, fantastic friend and a hell of a competitor once settled behind his rifle.

Hopefully we achieved this.

I will most certainly miss him.

Belly

@belly  It was great to have a strong group of visitors shooting at Little River for the Victorian Championships. Many people who like yourself had become great mates with Nick. His passing on Sunday leaves an indelible mark on us all . A great loss for the fly shooting community and Melbourne Benchrest Club. Richard

We have lost another true gentleman in our fly shooting community. He will certainly be missed by all. Glen
