2026 NSW FLY STATE TITLES WAGGA WAGGA (BLUE HEELER CLASSIC) and Paul Deehan Perpetual HG trophy.

Set up and practice went off without a hitch however a complete loss of power with our clubs batteries depleted to zero % (possibly caused by someone turning the generator off) created mayhem on Saturday morning. The match was unable to commence as we could not get power back into the batties as they would not take a charge from the generator. After a thousand meters of extension cords were distributed throughout the building directly to the generator we were finally able to get under way some 2.5hrs late.
Some interesting conditions kept everyone honest for the day and thanks to an awesome target crew we were able to make up a bit of time as the day progressed.
Sunday was brisk with a hint of fog but we got going on time. Some nice targets come across the scores bench with two screamer patches earned by two seperate shooters.
We had a Junior who was on a come and try P650 day, who was forced to comply with our targets and timings. We kept his score just for fun and he wouldve taken 3rd in RF if he had been elligible. God help us all when he gets his licence.

Each of the place getters were able to pick from a combined 20 Boxes of Sierra and Berger 6mm and 6.5mm Target Bullets kindly donated by Wagga Work Wear and Outdoor Sporting Agencies Australia.
Volunteers Bruce Milne and Brent McKee took out the two Bunnings Vouchers donated by the club.
The club also gave out 4 lucky door prizes of two tins of ADI 2208 and two BRASS TRACK ammo boxes.
Runner up Juniors also received a custom made WORKHORSE TOOLING 22 Rimfire thickness guage.
