2024 Blue Heeler Classic

The Wagga Branch of the SSAA is proud to announce will be holding the 2024 Blue Heeler Classic on the weekend of 24-25th August 2024. Two stainless 6mm HV 1:8 twist barrels up for grabs.

Program

Friday 23rd August

• Range open for setup and Practice from 1pm

Saturday 24th August

LG and HG @ 500m

• Weigh in from 8am
• Match Commences at 8.30am
• 500m Fly match run to the current Fly rules. 5 targets across 4 details plus optional warmer target. LG and HG.

Sunday 25th August

300m Custom and Factory Rifle

• Weigh in from 8am
• Match Commences at 8:30am
• 300m Centrefire Fly match for Custom and Factory Guns. 5 Targets across 3 details plus optional warmer target. Custom class will be run to all current fly rules for a HG. Factory class will be run to all current fly rules with the exception of the rifle/scope/rest rules.

Nominations

• $50 for one class, $90 for two classes, $120 for three classes and $150 for all four classes
• Juniors half price
• You must nominate via the form on this page. All individuals must create a separate entry submission

Prizes

• Prizes in lieu of trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Small Group and High Target in each class (HG & LG) and for highest rank junior.
• Fly patches for hits on the fly
• The Two day champion will win an IBI 6mm 1:8 twist HV profile barrel.
• Any competitor who shoots both days( and doesn’t win the overall two day match) will go into the draw to win a an IBI 6mm 1:8 twist HV profile barrel.
