You hear so much about Rule 10: “Any competitor found not enjoying themselves, will be disqualified” and all about the “Spirit of the fly community”. Well! Batemans Bay can certainly attest to the fact that this isn’t just hearsay. We wholeheartedly would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, the people who donated prizes, the South Coast Hunters for doing the targets on Sunday and who could forget our target crew from Saturday, but most of all we would like to thank all the competitors that made the time to support us as we try to get our new clubhouse finished. Because of all of you we have manged to raise more than $15,000. Around $7,000 of this was from entry fees and the rest was because of the generosity of our sponsors and all our remarkable competitors/Friends.
