Social Teams!     Are you organized?

At the 2025 Fly Nationals we had 5 Social Teams, with Team Mardi Gras taking the win after 3 days of competition.

Even though they did have half the nominated competitors signed on as team members 😇 truth I say

This year will we see the return of the somewhat colorful "Team Mardi Gras" to defend their title?

Or will it be "Team Be the Bullet" Cap by Michael Truscott, or "Team Kaizen Tactical" Cap by Mark Lacey (Fiona Lacey we know who the real captain is!). Maybe "Team Wolfpack, Unrivalled Precision" Cap by Vincent Vaina and all his pups get a win?
Or will this be "Team LET'EM FLY" Cap by Stuart Pethybridge year to take the title?

Get it sorted folks...

Don't forget there is one Reg match prior to the 2026 Fly Nationals. South Coast Fly Championships 2026 - Batemans Bay and nominations have opened! SO, get a match under your belt before the Nationals.

Hi Folks,

I would like to announce a generous offer by Kathy Dundas of No Fuss Homeloans to sponsor the Fly Nationals in 2026 in Canberra.

Kathy's sponsorship will take the form of $1,000, to be split between 10 money boxes and they will be drawn after the presentations as part of the lucky prize drawer.

Thank-you Kathy, your support is very much appreciated by the Club and I am sure, by the competitors!

Dave.

SSAA Fly Nationals State Teams.

  • Which State / Territory do you shoot for?
  • Who won last year?
  • Who will win this year?
  • Do you know how it works?

You are part of this competition automatically when you register and compete. You are allocated to the state team that is indicated on your SSAA Membership Card.

  • The placings, 1st, 2nd and 3rd are worked out by the aggregated scores of the top 3 shooters from each state. (See attached photos for example)
  • There are medals awarded to the top 3 individuals of each team that places.

Check out: SSAA Fly Shoot Official National Rules No.2 (Revised 2022) Section 3.9

Last year QLD won the State Teams Title, will they repeat again this year?

So, have you nominated yet for the 2026 SSAA Fly Nationals?
