Happy New Year all, and welcome to the 2025 Tri Branch 200yrd Fly Rimfire Competition.
Once again, the leader board has been wiped clean and awaits the first scores from Jan 2025.
- Who will we see in the top spots this year, Calcutt, Lacey, Truscott or Vv is this your year?
- Can they achieve the amazing Avg that Mitchell Calcutt achieved over the last 2 years?
- Who will venture out and test their skills at all 3 ranges throughout the year?
We now have enough data from 2 years to start some Historical records. Please see attached to this post.

Best refresh the basics again, of course there are some rules. Don’t get too hung-up on them… this is about having a little fun.
- 200yrd Rimfire competition.
- It is based on individuals scores, not a Branch against Branch score etc..
- Shot in accordance with the National Rule book for Fly.
- Each month the Highest score by a competitor shot at Mackay, Gladstone or Brisbane 200yrd Fly Branch match/ National Registered match will be entered.
- Tied scores for Shooter of the year: Will be tied, a Count back system is not used. Shake hands, have a Beer together, and congratulate each other on achieving the same score.
- Shooter of the Year: a competitor must enter 8 scores to qualify for SOTY. The Shooter of the Year will be decided on the top 8 scores added together that a competitor enters through the year 2025 from shooting at any of the 3 branches above.
- Prizes: This is for bragging rights only!
