This match is to be run in accordance with the current SSAA Fly Shoot Rule Book

Awards

Patches for Hits on the Fly

Medals will be awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd in Light Gun, Heavy Gun and Rimfire

Medals will be awarded for Small Group and High Score targets in Light Gun, Heavy Gun and Rimfire

Cup awarded to the winner of 3 Gun and medals present to 2^nd and 3^rd placegetters.

Highest Single Score in any class – small canister of 2208 powder

Lucky Door Prize – small canister of 2208 powder.

Entries $40.00 per class or $100 for all 3 classes CASH ONLY

            Entries limited by range capacity – enter early to secure your position

PLEASE NOTE:  Competitors and visitors must check in each day and pay range fees if shooting (approx. $20/day) at the office prior to coming to MR2 (Main Range 2)

Just letting the Fly community know that I will be running the 200 fly - Club shoot at SSAA Silverdale for 2026. The matches are scheduled for the 2026 year and occur on the second Saturday (morning) of each month unless a long weekend falls on the second Saturday.

Some key facts

- SSAA Silverdale have allocated 10 benches for the shoot

- The program for the day is setup from when they open the gate around 8am (Frames have to be erected, flags, targets written up and the bench allocation will be via a draw on the day) shooting from 9am.

- Given the range shuts for a target change every hour, targets are posted as Warmer, Target 1 and Target 2 for the first string and then Target 3,4 & 5 for the second string so shooting is generally finished by 11am if there are no issues during the day.

-Its best to contact me via phone if your interested, there is a group txt that I have made to get going, please confirm you are on it if your interested.

- I will send out a text a week or so before confirming numbers. With 10 benches, it will be the first 10 notifications get a spot and then it will be a waiting list. 

To get this shoot going again a special thanks to Rob Bernard who has been liaising with the Silverdale range manager (Its not only what you know, but who you know) to get them to agree.
